Title: Hot Pond
Post by: Mojo on October 25, 2008, 02:26:26 PM
 ;D ;D ;D

Looks like a few of us are interested in the Hot Pond this fall.

UAW and I are thinking Saturday morning 6 am out of ramp down near Monroe. Anyone else would be more than welcome.

Respond to this post -  boaters and non boaters and we can begin to pair up.

Anyone up for a 50 fish day ?? :o  :o

I'm in as a boater.   I just need a person to follow in because I've never been there before....

IF the weather holds out, I'll do my best to make it.  If I do, I'll probably be bringing my wife along so she can get one last time out on the water.

2 things:  Where are the "hot ponds" (US or CAN?), and I hear it can be treacherous for your lower unit getting in and out of there.  Will we have someone there to show us the ropes?

I think I'm fishing a tournament on the Portage Chain Saturday, if that doesn't work out then count me in but I worry about getting back there. I don't know where it is either.

I talked to somebody who was there today and he did very well. BUT (there's always a but) he had to leave because of the 4 days of westerly wind was dropping the water lever and it was getting tough to get out.
