Title: Waypoint management software
Post by: canvsbk on September 26, 2008, 08:06:56 PM
What's the best way to manage your waypoints? I keep an updated copy on an sd card and a hard copy on a table in Word.
There must be a better way. I heard that Navionics is coming out with software similair to Map Create.???
Any tips are appreciated.

Dan - can I use a shameless plug here?

The Angler's Genie - written by none other than me (genie).  The software was listed here for a while, but I got stomped by the Vista upgrades.  Anyway, the rewrite is done and in the testing mode right now.  Final release will be available mid October.

In case you're wondering what it does ... convert/manage waypoints, manage your money matters, manage your tournaments, manage your logbook, manage your contacts, media collection, task list, etc.

If you want to know more, pm me and I can fill you in.

Are you still talking online... or will you be going back to a local install (too?) ?

You'll have to use the on-line version.

Genie:   My PC copy seems to be working fine with Vista.  I hope I didn't just jinx myself.

This is the land of choices afterall.
If the American people don't start paying more attention to what's going on, we are going to lose choices...........like baiting for deer.   >:(  But that is for another forum.........
