Title: Wanted: GM for NFL Franchise, No Experience Necessary
Post by: Cheetam on September 24, 2008, 05:28:32 PM
Millen is out (at least that's what the reports are saying).  Hopefully this time Mr Ford Sr. will hire someone with at least SOME management experience.  A 31-84 record?  Geez...  This should create a slight glimmer of hope for the fans, don't you think?  Now, if we can only see a headline reading "Ford Sells Lions to Illich Holdings".  What a day that would be!

I've been hearing rumers that Bill Cowher wants to come out of retirement. His requirements would be a head coach with full control of the team. That would fit for the Lions pretty well, but you can't have him, he's going to Cleveland after the Browns fire Crennel when they get busted by the Bengals Sunday.
