Title: Detroit and SC Rivers
Post by: dashaver63 on September 24, 2008, 03:38:28 PM
Anyone been out on either of these lately? I was curious as to what the smallmouth might be doing now. I know the big blow and floods 2 weekends ago messed up things a bit, I'm hoping for a good weekend of fishing coming up.

I went out of Marine City today..Water was definetly stained...Temp was around 66 degrees..
I caught most of my fish in 18-22 ft...It was tough though, I didn't catch alot and no real big ones..I would say my 5 best were around 12 lbs at best..I probably only caught 10 keepers in about 6 hours..
I spent most of the day messing with my Lowrance...Lowrance sent me a new unit because I had Sonar problems and today the GPS had problems.  I don't get it..the unit I bought last year works flawlessly no matter where I mount it in the boat, I just can't get a good second 28c going..

Thanks for the report Moto. See you Tommorrow night! Looks like the action could be on Erie Saturday?
