I called UFP today, makers of the trailer buddy (the bearing protector with the blue indicator). I was adding grease to my hubs and broke off the cap after my grease gun stuck to the fitting, my fault entirely and 2 years out of their warranty. So I called to see if I could get a new cap or if I had replace the whole thing, guy called me back and said he was putting a new one in the mail tomorrow, no charge!

I have to ask what is UFP  ???

Unique Functional Parts, not really the name I would have chosen for a company that makes trailer parts.  I assume they are mainly supplying manufacturers.
