Title: Stricker's Strick-nyne Shiners
Post by: Dan on June 29, 2008, 10:32:37 AM
I was at D&R Sports and they no longer carry these soft plastic jerk baits. Anybody know where you can get them? If you haven't use them they flat out work. Caught all our fish on them in our first prespawn tournament and caught several fish off beds with them in our next tournament. Garlic rules. I'm running low and need to replenish my supply. I emailed Stricker's site, but have not gotten a response and it's been several weeks.

Dan, you can order them on Schuberts & Laketown website.

I was talking to Ken at the Novi Show this winter.  He says that they can no longer call them Stric Nine Shiners.

He would have to tell you why.

But, what used to be called Stric Nine can be purchased on line from Shuberts.

Garlic was the only thing they had on a fluke IMO.  They are gone from the schuberts/laketown website.  Seems unusual, they were pushing that bait hard just 2 years ago.

Well, if anyone knows where I can get some garlic Strick-nynes let me know. I would like about 5 packs and if they're discontinuing them I'll take all I can find.

I don't know the answer to your question, but as a substitute, you can try BANG garlic spray.
I used that before I found the strick nines..  I also use it on tubes, old scented stick baits, etc.

I talked to Kim, he said thay are nolonger made since he is now with A new sponcer. Thay sold out fast at the sportshops as soon as thay came in. Kim wishs that we would all contact the manufacture and ask them to start making it again. Kim liked it himself.
