I found this in a magazine.
When NASA first sending astronauts into outer space, they quickly discovered that ballpoint pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and over $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, on alsmost any surface including glass, and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300 degrees centigrade.
The Russians used a pencil.

after paying entry fees for BFL, Stren, Memberships for NBAA, FLW, ABA i am glad i am getting a little bit back from Uncle this year... all this and there is still 10 inches of ice on my lake... they seem to want the money earlier each year...
