Finally broke down and spent the money. So many great testimonials and an awesome warranty sold me! I ordered it from Jim on Monday and it in my hands today (Wednesday). Sure looks and feels nice! Hopefully it will help me spank the smallies this weekend on Hardy Pond.
Now I also have to explain to the boss that I need another new reel to go with it.....

Why dont you shoot Jim an Email as now that you are a customer of ours, he will sell you a reel at cost, well our cost. He does that to take care of our customers. Got to use the rod some on Saturday. While I didn't actually catch anything with the bait tied onto that rod, it certainly had a different an awesome feel to it! Can't wait to use it next time...We did manage a good (almost a great) finish in our tournament. (See 'Other tournaments' section of forum).
