Well Terry and I met Cy and his buddy over at Hardy on Sunday. The fishing wasn't fast a furious but they caught some fish, not me I don't think I could have caught a blue gill if I dangled a worm in it's face that day.
We have our cnr tourney over there on the 18th so we are meeting up with some relatives from Jackson over there this weekend to do some more scouting (feel like I'm talking deer hunting there).
We didn't find any fish on beds yet, I'm not so sure we will this weekend either, even though the sun is shinning it's been getting down into the 30's at night here and not much over 50 during the day.
The water temps were 55 to almost 58 on Sunday. We did find a few beds but not a fish close to them.
I was so looking forward to getting my smallie fix on Sunday, now I have to go back and try again, bummer!! I'm so excited to go the hours and minutes are just ticking by.
Just something about that body of water, I just love to fish there. Almost as much as Hamlin!! Did I say that out loud?
Well I'll let you all know how we do this weekend on Monday.
