Title: Places to Stay. . .Burt, Mullett, Black Lake Areas
Post by: chkoch99 on April 30, 2008, 09:35:01 AM
Thinking of heading up to that area to smallmouth fish the last weekend in May.  Any suggestions on some nice cabins in the area of those lakes?  Will have 7 or 8 guys, 4 boats, don't have to be lake side cabins with docks, but want some easily accessable to boat ramps.

Willing to pay a bit higher price for nicer cabins.

Also, if you suggestions of other lakes that would be good that time of year that have nice accomodations, i'm all ears for that as well.  Just looking for a nice place to stay on a good fishing lake where we can keep the whole crew together or in a couple smaller cabings.

Thanks,

Chris

I haven't done the cabin thing up there myself - I usually camp or occ. do a motel. I'd give specifics if I could.

Have you tried (south end) the Indian River chamber 800-Exit 310 or (north end) the Cheboygan chamber at 800-968-3302 and tell them what you're looking for. That's how I usually start anyway.
