Title: Newburgh Lake 4/27
Post by: Cheetam on April 28, 2008, 10:54:29 AM
Had a lot of things going on this past weekend, but did find some time to get out on one of the beautiful little Rouge River lakes (Newburgh in Livonia between Haggerty and Newburgh Rds).  Caught two fish, one on my second cast with an Extreme Bluegill VibraShock (great dirty water color), and one that I plucked off of a bed with a watermelon/ chartruese lizard.  Quite a few fish were already paired up, which still blows my mind for this time of year.  I was mostly out to throw the new gear I picked up during the winter, the couple of fish were a bonus.
