It's been a while, thinking about getting up there and getting back into fishing a little bit. I looked to see how much a non resident license is and saw the sportcard. So I would need a Sportcard to get a one day license? Shows how long it's been since I got one, used to get one for 7.00. I don't mind paying 10.00 for a license, I just don't want to buy a card if I didn't need to.
Since you don't have a State of Michigan ID you do buy the $1 Sportcard to be able to purchase fishing (or hunting) licenses for the rest of the year. You only have to buy the Sportcard once to be able to buy fishing (and hunting) licenses as a nonresident. Not sure if you have to buy another Sportcard next year or not?
So for a 1 day Michigan fishing license the total would be $11.00.
If you bought another 1 day Michigan fishing license this year it would only be $10 that time.
Good to hear from you Doug... ;D I hope all is well.
You always have a open seat on my boat.. keep in touch
Thanks Dan, I don't know why I was thinking the card was more than a dollar. I think I looked at the website wrong. Lol. Don, good to hear from you, my son and I will be working on a trip to Belleville in June. He had a great time up there last time. I'll have to let you know when we'll be up there. I've been itching for a trip to St.Clair, been too long since I've been on that lake.
We have the annual MadWags Memorial Members Tournament on Lake St. Clair this Saturday, May 6 from 8am to 2pm followed by a group pizza meal at Harley Ensign. See the posts in the MadWags forum below.
I would love to do another one, work has me tied up till the end of may. I had a great time the 2 that I got out to, I still have the wavespin I got at Ovid years ago.
That was a while ago!
