Title: Lowrance X-71 Sonar. Make offer
Post by: Revtro on February 20, 2008, 11:31:44 AM
I have a Lowrance X-71 monochrome sonar that I don't need.  It works fine and is a good bow mount unit or backup.  I have 2 backups, so I just don't need it.  Anyone need an inexpensive sonar?

I'll throw in a dozen Krispy Kremes on top of the slim jims... do we have a deal????  :D

In reality... what do you want for it?

This is not helpful to the "Make Tom less fat" program!  ;D

Seriously though, I don't know.  I'm not looking to make a ton of $$, just help out someone who can't afford one or who is on a tight budget.  I'm reasonably sure I have a trolling motor/puck transducer for it too and the dash mount.  I don't think I have the plugs though, so you might need to order them from Lowrance.  They're cheap.

I'll double check to be sure though because now that I think of it, the replacement sonar had a newer style plug, so I'm thinking I may have kept the plugs in the box.  That's normally what I'd do.  I'll double check and amend the post.

I may be interested.

Let me know if you have the cables, Transducer and how much you're looking to get for it.

I'm going to be fishing this Summer out of a small Jon boat and a cheap fishfinder would be a nice fit...   ;D

Have you had a chance to check for accessories and come up with a price yet?

Searched and searched.  This one of those times I have to ask myself what the heck was I thinking?  I'm sure I kept the plugs, but for the life of me I can't find them.  Grr.
So I guess this is the head unit only.  Here's the pics.  $20. OBO.

I also have an LMS-120 GPS/Sonar combo that I bought from Slipkey before I was able to get Lowrance to replace my x-71, I have the cables for it and the trolling motor puck, but the GPS receiver needs a new plug.  The unit works and the plug is a new replacement extension cable from LEI.  He gave me a great deal on it as a backup unit to help me out, but I did have to spend $30 on the new cable, so I'd like to get a few more bucks than I paid for it, but not looking to break even... let's say $35?
