Title: Montcalm, Mecosta, and Isabella Area Tounaments
Post by: Eric on February 11, 2008, 06:06:26 PM
Anyone know of any tournaments going on this year in this area.  Seems I remember bailapanga mentioning something last fall.  Anyone know about that, or anything else. I have NBAA schedules already.

OK, let's add Newaygo.  I'll never go to Hess again probably, but anything else might be fair game.  Let me hear 'em.

Check out our West Michigan Bass Anglers "Case of the Monday's" tournaments.  We fish lakes in northern Kent and one (Tamarack) in Montcalm County.  Every Monday... just a bunch of fun guys pitting their skills against one another for fun and a little money.

Man I don't know.   The honorarium you always made me pay to ride in your boat and have you as a partner got out of hand.  I'll sure keep it mind though.  I actually have all of them on my schedule.  Not sure what is happening with our Monday Night Singles deal, but I'm sure I'll be at some of them.

Anyone hear anything about Hawghunters yet this year?

Honorarium? you mean "don't bother wiping your feet"? lol.

i heard there was a rift between the hawg-hunters administration and participants over the last 2 years that kind of boiled over... not sure if they will have anything this year or not.

I fished a few last year, and had no indication of trouble of any kind. I know it was new people running them last year, and I thought the tournaments were fine.  But I don't know the whole story, and don't know what might have happened when I wasn't there.  I hope they do something.
