hey any doug stange wannabes out there? saw him again this morning catching those really nice walleyes and smallies on those 5" swim baits, driving me nuts!anybody use them on the west side but not telling anybody? thanks guys..karol
I got the impression they are really new... don't know if they've been out long enough to get much use last summer/fall. Anyone else know? First I heard about them was within the last few weeks.
I have been trying to find them with no luck...I am going to have to ask our resident Berkley jr team pro Cody Harris about them..
New Berkley stuff always seems hard to find at first... not sure how long it takes to get the product out there...
It seems like I read something that said they would be available to the public in late Feb. or March. So we should be able to pick some up around the end of Sept.
If it was the show I saw, I think he was using the saltwater power mullets or pogy (might be why you can't find them in the typical bass/freshwater categories online).
Not sure if this is the same thing or not but [REMOVED - see No Links Policy List (http://www.greatlakesbass.com/forum/index.php?topic=11129.0)] has the new berkley swimbaits.
The episode I saw was just a standard shad body, nothing special. Just a bigger version of what the walleye guys use. They have the new smimbaits like basstrix coming out this month for the classic. You can order from berkley-fishing.com , they just farm it out to one of their dealers that have what you order in stock. Haven't watched In-Fisherman much since the Linders left. Every episode seems the same to me. They go out fishing have an average to good day and they call what ever technique they are using a "system". The production quality has fallen off as well.
