Title: Burt / Mullet peak spawn
Post by: Hollada on November 20, 2016, 11:06:52 PM
I know it varies f I'm year to year, but roughly what is peak bed fishing time on Burt / mullet?  What was it this year?

Trying to plan a week next year, and hoping to pick a time that will align with the spawn.

When they had the BFL's up there the first week of June Chad Pipkins weighed 27 pounds plus three years in a row i believe.   Good thing about that area is there are lots of other smaller lakes that should be good that time of year.   The CFB Classic will be somewhere around Alpena June 2-4.

1st and 2nd weeks of June with some still happening all the way into early July most years up there. Prespawn is pretty darn good at times too! All depends on the weather you end up with for the most days.
