Well i know we already had a thread about this but not too much follow up. Whats the thoughts about the new color from Xtreme? I love it, it really incorps all my fav smallie colors and I look for it to be a real producer this year. Thanks for a great product Wayne.-skeeterman-
I think the question should read: What do the fish think about the new color? And since I (and most of the rest of you) have not had a chance to fish this bait yet... we will just have to wait and see!!
I was talking to a smallmouth the other day... she said it was an AWESOME color, but not to tell any anglers... please!
;D Haha the one I talked to said the same ;D,except she said dont tell the westsiders. Pentwater here I come,oh I mean Muskegon, oh wait White, heck lets throw Portage in there they wont know what hit em. Im sure the others I didnt mention wont mind either. COME ON SPRING!!!!!-skeeterman-
I think I saw a conversation like this with Kim Stricker and a smallie on Hook and Look....
By the way good show this week on the LSC mayfly hatch..
Awesome color. I know this bait will put fish in the boat. Hopefully bigger fish.......................... :o
BD ;D
Shoot!! I missed the mayfly hatch show. I'll have to see if I can catch it. I almost have the DVR thing figured out.
Don't need DVR, or talking bass, to know St. Clair Crayfish is going to be one fish-catching son of a gun! I knew it the moment I layed my eyes on it.
When I first started fishing Clair, we had a joke that you could throw whatever color of whatever bait you wanted, as long as it was chartreuse.
Woo Daves says he always puts a little chartreuse on his baits when after smallies.
I've been after Wayne for years to have something with some chartreuse in it. In the absence of that, I've dyed the tails of Xtreme tubes, or of the tube trailers that I use.
Now I don't have to. At least not once I get some of the new hot color.
No offense to Wayne... but you guys (we??) need to stop talking about this bait!! If you keep this up our advantage on the water will dissapear, the supply will dwindle, and we'll be forced to buy them on ebay for 2x what they retail for!!!
SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Okay, okay... you're right. We should all stop talking about St. Clair Crayfish. Otherwise, EVERYONE will buy St. Clair Crayfish. And then we wouldn't be able to find St. Clair Crayfish anywhere. Without being able to find any St. Clair Crayfish, we couldn't buy or use St. Clair Crayfish. Which would mean we would not be able to catch any bass on St. Clair Crayfish... not good. So EVERYONE! STOP TALKING ABOUT St. Clair Crayfish! PLEASE! St. Clair Crayfish will only work if no one is talking about or buying St. Clair Crayfish... Except us lucky few on the inside track of the St. Clair Crayfish train... Thank you.
can you only get these at shows for now, or will they be available online anytime soon?
Kimmel.... you're just not grasping the concept of "shut up" are you???
Tcook... you cannot buy them anywhere. They are unavailable to anyone because Kimmel can't grasp the concept of "shut up" about them. Blame him for their unavailablity and inflated ebay pricing.
All kidding aside... come on over to the Grand Rapids show in March and buy all you want...
I see they are on his ebay store now, dont worry waterfowl I actually am not going to get many at all. After seeing the color its too chartruese for me throw it.
I think I'll stick with the Great Lakes Craw color since all you guy's will be throwing the St.Clair crawfish. The fish will get so conditioned to seeing the St.Clair crawfish that Great Lakes craw will be like a new color to them. So buy 'em up guy's and flood the lake with 'em!
Hook n Look is on Friday afternoons at 1500 hours (3pm) on Versus. I hope to catch it tomorrow.
