I am always making something new... I enjoy making/designing lures almost as much as fishing. I think I missed my calling.

I really like having the weight shown on my baits, That is why I made this one to try. The fish don't care, But I do. 8^)

Mike,
You know there's a spring Walleye bite on the Blade baits?
They kill them on the reefs.

New mold is garbage... Waste of time and money.   Oh well   It don't vibrate unless you stroke the bait hard...

Not a waste of time if you learned something. I look forward to the next new design :-)

I've seen your various posts of your home made weights / baits etc and first off very nice work! If you don't mind me asking are you using your own home made molds? Or pre-fab'd? It's something I would like to do myself as a hobby and maybe for a little offshoot extra income. I did some pouring of plastics this year with reasonable success but I'd like to get into jigs, spinnerbaits etc as well with my own specs for size / design but have no idea where to even start...

Sorry to hear the new blade baits don't work well. Maybe if you get on a hard-stroking bite they will still work for you??

I can see now looking at them why they might not vibrate well based on how far forward the lead weight is. Bummer that doesn't work.

It's not the weight forward as much as weight shape... These Shad Blades work with the weight almost all forward...

Well... there you go. Shows you what I know. The shad blade looks like it wouldn't vibrate much... but really, how many different blade baits does a guy need??
