That's our bass tournament liaison Tom Goniea. He's new into bass fishing recently. I'll have to ask him about using spinning rods upside down.
I see lots of people do it. I don't recall if he's a lefty or not but not everyone knows you can switch the reel handle around either...?
Tournament angler Andy Nowyorkas used to fish his baitcasters upside down on purpose because he said it made him fish his jigs slower and he caught more big bass that way. You never know...
