AWESOME deal on quality and unique lures!!! Everyone at the Novi show wanted to know what the Vibraspin was and how to get them. Had quite a few follow me back to the booth to get the web address.

You KNOW the bass all over are going to take one look at that Vibraspin and just have to SLAM something that looks so different!!! That's what I'm counting on. ;D

Great colors and a number of additional quality lures that will catch the bass very well indeed!

Are they available locally? My wife keeps checking the credit card account for activity. I should never have showed her how to log on.

Dan,
Nothing here yet. I will be helping Rudy and Karl establish distribution here in Michigan.
What a great couple of guys, they're just what you would want in a company. When you call to talk with someone, it's the owners, not a customer service representative.
What did you order?
If you have any questions, feel free to send me a PM.

Change the password!!! Tell her it's a technical glitch that 'they' are working on! Or open a PayPal account... ;D ;D

Right now, KaRu products are available from www.karulures.com.

So who has actually USED this bait and caught fish on it?

If I wanted to put a colorado blade on it can I??
Is the front blade adjustable in anyway?  More vibration... less vibration...

Waterfoul,
I'm waiting for my first shipment to get to the house so I can go find some soft water and take a look at it.
I'm pretty sure Dan has thrown it (correct me if I'm wrong).

You think exactly how think though, I wanna try every variation I can. I do not have the answer to your questions, yet, but I'll be sure to report on them when I can get out there and fling a couple.

You will be glad to now that one of their first products was designed for musky fishermen (just going off your pic here on the board). They have a 1-1/2 oz musky version I wanna get for some deep ledge fishing on reservoirs.
The company is based out of the chicago area and the majority of there R&D for the bait was done on the Missisippi River on the Iowa/ Wisconson borders.
My big concern was that they were another "southern state" based lure company, but my relief was that they're right here in the Northern Mid-west and it has been tested on our typical structure, weedlines, lilly pads, rock piles and wood.

What a great combination though, a chatterbair and a spinnerbait... kind of like chocolate and peanut butter.

Actually I've only been musky fishing once.  That remains the biggest (by length) fish I've ever landed.  But I do a lot of early season pike fishing so one of those big baits might be the ticket for that.

And yes, I tend to "play with" my baits trying to make them work how I want them to work.  Never been afraid to try new things...

Karl and Rudy, are you going to be at the Ultimate fishing show in Grand Rapids in March?  If so I'll be looking you up there to check out your wears in person.  If not... well.. we'll just have to wait and see what spring brings!

Waterfoul,
I sent ya an email with my cell phone. Hope to answer your questions ASAP.  Not going to have a booth at the Grand Rapids show.  We are only 7 months old as a company and we are not a CASH HEAVY company like the big producers of Chinese made baits and other products... just to further their profits.  Had to throw that in there  ;D ...
Our baits are poured in the midwest... actually right here in Illinois, and Karl and his wife assemble the VibraSpins and VibraShocks in their home just a few blocks off the Mississippi River in Clinton, Iowa.  Actually I guess I would love to see our baits mass produced : )   The VibraSpin had a top 25 finish on the Potomac River in a FLW Tour event.  Our Pro-Staff member Robert Sherry was throwing the the VibraSpin this past June on the grass lines and cashed a check that weekend.  So there was a testimony to it's effectiveness in that situation. We caught some BIG Bass in our initial trial with the VibraSpin this past April... but... a big but, we were on Lake Fork in April... ::) should be able to catch em on a hot dog while bedding..  :D just kidding. The weather was a little rough but we caught our fair share of bass over 6 lbs. the biggest going 7.9lbs.  Going again this March!   Give me a call on my cell (number in the email)
Rudy

That's my kind of 'research!' ;D

I promise this, I will be doing some SERIOUS research of my own with some of the Vibraspins come opening weekend the end of April!! And I expect it to be very interesting research. I've been invited down to Indiana so I may do some research even earlier!!!

You can tell the lures are quality. The colors are very good. The concept is exceptionally unique - I fully expect the bass to agree in numbers. I know chatterbait-type jigs work. I also know swimming jigs work very well too!

The question about "do they work", all I can say is you'll have to try it to believe it. Now I'm not saying that just because I am the one taking a break right now because my fingers are raw from bending wire, I'm saying that because #1, We made these to use for ourselves but once we used them we just had to share and one thing led to another and we couldn't afford to share anymore lol the local demand was high so we decided to go into production USA style, right in my garage lol. Now my home theater room is a production house and another room is our warehouse cuz its just to dang cold out in the garage right now... #2 Let me ask you this. Does a spinnerbait catch fish? Does a swimblade jig catch fish (sorry, I can't say the "C" word). Think of the possibilities when you combine the two  :o Yeah, it'll catch fish lol

As far as the blades go, we use the willow size 4 because that is the largest blade we could get away with. The VibraBlade in the front creares so much lift that anything larger will cause the bait to ride out of the water. I originally used a Royal blade on the VibraSpin with great results but at the time of production they were new and terribly expensive. If you were to use a colorado blade I would suggest a #3 but if you are thinking about using a colorado for more thump, you won't need it, I gaurentee  ;) I hope this helps explain them a little better for you.

I put my order in last week for QTY of 31 different baits.
I'm also having Karl put in a sample of every skirt color they have.
That way, someone will be able to look at all the colors and see the great combinations they have first hand.

Just think... some day we'll order a new Vibraspin over the Internet and 'download' it instantaneously through some kind of optic beam or something?!? For now, it's stilll pretty fast and amazing.

With EDI claims payment in the medical industry I work in (during the day... often in the evening... sometimes late at night or even all night... ), we have to be careful to avoid paying claims faster than we get the premiums in to cover the checks we write.
