Title: MDNR Video bass tournaments & Michigan Fishing Tournament Information System
Post by: djkimmel on July 04, 2016, 01:22:27 PM
Tom Goniea and crew at the MDNR did a nice video on a local bass tournament and the Michigan Fishing Tournament Information System. This is the farthest I've ever seen the Michigan Department of Natural Resources go in doing something in conjunction with bass tournaments so this is a good thing!

Tom Goniea is new MDNR bass tournament liaison you contact if you have questions about the MFTIS. He is a commercial fisheries biologist too.

I hope they get a lot of info and use it wisely. I am concerned that a fee will soon be added. Thats the nature of gov entities.

I'll keep reminding them that it cost more money to collect the fee. They know that...
