Title: FLW Outdoors / the Art Ferguson show
Post by: bigjc on December 16, 2007, 12:37:03 PM
Anyone see FLW Outdoors today?  It was like the Art Ferguson show.  It was the FLW Series event on Pickwick, and Art wound up 3rd, but got a ton of Airtime.

I saw it. It made me long for the warm days of summer! Jim Moynah was the first pro I ever drew in the Everstarts.

I watched it too.  Art never moved his boat that day... caught all his fish off one spot.  And the leader catching his kicker fish on the last cast AT THE RAMP was pretty cool.

watched also - pretty cool, a "reel" tv star. i had e-mailed him for a guide trip as i'm going to florida next month, he said the tournament was a blast, and he won't be avaliable for a trip, he'll be down at the big 'O' for a BP eastern tournament.

great editing,  i think i only saw his Triton sticker on the windshield twice.   glad he got so much air time and a nice check.

I watched it last night (Love the DVR) I drew Mark Rose last year on the Mississippi River down in Fort Madisson. That guy truly has something extra special working for him.
He put a whoopin on me, another one of those days where the guy in the front of the boat brings in a nice limit and the guy in the back of the boat gets to go up to the stage and watch.
Uhg.
Yeah, very awesome show, it's always nice to say, "Hey that guy's from Michigan!"

joshimoto son ;D

Yeah, Mark is a super nice guy.  In Aug. he was up here for the FLW on Erie, and one of his buddies gave him my number, because he was looking to go to Church somewhere near his hotel, so I gave him directions to my church (www.metrosouthchurch.com) , and somehow there was a mis-communication (Van Horn / Vreeland.....sounds similar right...oops) and Mark spent 45 minutes looking for my church, which he never found.  I felt pretty bad about that.
