Almost had a giant scare today with the rig. When we pulled it out of storage 2 weeks ago noticed the brown death water streaks on the transom. After taking it to a buddies house and moving the motor up a bolt hole on the JP so I can go higher than 3 1/2 prop to pad. I looked at where the water was coming from. It is coming out of the splash well drain tube. SHEWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!. That was close. Thought I had not sealed the bolt holes good enough and the transom got soaked. Resealed the drain tube and will keep an eye on it for the summer.
