I made some 3/8 and 1/2 oz in my favorite colors. Playing with different blade combos. I'm using a clevis that the blades are changeable. These are VMC 3/0 9908 double hooks. Now all I need is the weather to give me a chance to fling them around.
I never fish trailers on my spinnerbaits, But I may put a EWG worm hook on a few and try rigging on a weed less trailer. I really like that once the fish is hooked, The wire frame does not bend, as all the movement takes place at the hook connection, Giving the fish no leverage to shake off. I tested these with smaller hooks and did very well.
I think I'm going to make some buzz baits like these soon...
