Title: furbit

Does any one use the Optimum Baits Furbit frog? I am curious as to how well the rabbit fur on the legs hold up.

Is that the really big one that looks like a real bullfrog?

No, it's the one that has the rabbit fur instead of rubber legs. Plus it has a small spinner blade coming off the back end of it. My second day boater at Fort Madison used one and caught a 15lb. bag. He eventually finished 4th, I think. I just was curious as to how well the legs held up being made out of fur instead of rubber or silicone.

Well... I guess if it can last one day through a 15 pound bag towards All-American qualification... that seems good enough?!?

After thinking about that, I guess I would have no problem using up a 10.00 frog for that kind of results.

It's all relative. But, yes, I wouldn't want to use it day-to-day and use 'em up like horny toads. I just haven't seen anyone use one.
