Time to pick your teams. I know GLB usually has a group to join, but I have also been having a group for the last few years. Public group, Tear Drop Bass. BTW you can be a member of three groups. It's free. You might win some $, and it's fun.
If you haven't played before, BASS ranks anglers on their recent performance and puts them in to 5 groups, A-E. You can only select one angler from each group. You also have to predict a total weight for the event in case you tie someone in points. Once you pick your 5 anglers go up to the top of the page to the pull down menus. Click on Groups. You can enter a name in the search window to find a group you are looking for or scroll through teams that are listed there. It's easier to use the search bar. Remember you can be a part of three different groups. That's about it. They start off with the Classic and then run a total for all the Elite series events. There are individual event winners and overall points. You play against everyone that picks a team worldwide. If you join a group you are still in the overall, but you are just seeing those scores of the guys and gals who have elected to be in your group.
Just set my line up this morning and already joined the tear drop bass league. I didn't do real great last year, so this is my year of redemption!
Redemption... or the agony of defeat. No harm done either way.
I'm in!

Cant find a GLB group yet. Did you make one Dan?
I thought it was already there? Maybe it has to be remade?
Well, I didn't know it needed to be recreated. Other people have made it in the past for me before I got to it but I have made one up this time: group GreatLakesBass.com.
