I thought perhaps you were gonna come out to St. Clair.  I'll be out there, so I can't join ya.  But I look forward to getting a chance eventually to getting to know ya on the water.  Go get 'em.

Revtro,
Where you going on St. Clair tomorrow??  I am going to my son's soccer game in the early morning at 0830 and after that I am going somewhere, I just don't know where.  I was thinking out of St. Jeans again but I may go Belleville or Ford for a few hours.  Erie sounds good too with the North wind.  Canadian shoreline is protected and usually pretty good in the fall on a north wind.

Dan you should try that big water.

Well, ended up at Kent's east launch about 7:15 with my better half. She likes Kensington for the nature trails and the walkways. Bassinman was there with a friend launching at the same time. We exchanged some ideas on what to use and he gave me senko style bait to try out.
We launched and headed to the small island just north of the launch. I saw that the other guys headed east. After about a 30 second 5mph run I put the trolling motor down and picked up the poppar. For the next 30 min. it was outrageous! Every cast I was ether hooking up a smallie or having one attack the poppar. Finally I hooked into a monster and snap! There went the bait of the day :( I tied on several different topwaters and nothing. We stayed until about 10:30 and I never had another hit. Crazy day, but a fun 1/2 hour.
