Title: Open tournament, Sunday 7th... Little Whitefish Lake
Post by: Waterfoul on October 03, 2007, 02:48:09 AM
This lake is north of Grand Rapids, near Pierson.  If you need directions shoot me an email at waterfoul24@netzero.com  This lake has a nice ramp with a decent parking lot.

Myself and a couple other local guys (thedude from this site is one of them) have been doing a Sunday morning/Monday night tournament most of the summer... but now it gets dark to early to do them at night...

All are invited... I will say this is not a big time, serious group.  We do it for some friendly competition.

We will kick off at 7:30 (we have a couple boats with no lights) and weigh in at 12:30 pm.

$30 per boat, $5 optional big bass

Normal rules apply

5 fish limit, 1/4 lb deduction for a dead fish
1 or 2 man treams
etc... etc... etc...

Hope to see some of you there.

Mike

Well, my partner and I got 10 keepers this morning... our biggest 5 only went 9 lbs 2 oz and our big fish was 2 lbs 1 oz (wow!).  Both were enough for 1st place and big bass though.

Fishing was pretty good actually.  I lost a 3+ pounder at the boat on the drop shot... and lost another good fish earlier in the day on a senko.
