Has anyone tried the new Gander Mountain fluorocarbon line? Says on the box it's made by Sunline, but I wonder which Sunline product it is closest too? Good price on it for sure.
Mike, I used it all year and thought it was great line. I used 15# fluoro on a jig rod & 8# or 10# on a jerkbait rod. Noticed it was made by Sunline and for the price I thought it was worth trying. I also used some Sufix 21 low-stretch mono 17# for spinnerbaits and had good success with that as well. The price was great. I'm thinking about trying that Sufix again this year on my topwater rods since I don't like using braid for topwaters and prefer line with some stretch. My brother used the Gander line last year as well and already told me to pick more up for him.
I picked up a spool of the 10 lb floro for my crankbait rod. Figure I'll give it a try before tourney season starts. I'm trying to get back down to Table Rock in March again so it will get a tough work out down there... lots of rocks and trees!
