Congrats to Jaye Smith on winning the NE Lady Angler of the Year title.
Not many woman make it to the regionals or the Nationals because they have to fish against guys all year long. I think it is cool that Jaye qualified for the ABA National championship while winning the NE Lady Angler of the year title.
Following the NE Regional Jaye helped out in an event where ABA members took wounded soldiers fishing. Jaye operated the bump and weigh station. She was treated great by all the soldiers and ladies at the event and everyone thought it was cool to see a woman who can fish. One lady even asked Jaye for her autograph.
Way to go Jaye
