Most of the lakes up there hold smallies.  Silver has some, though I've never caught anything big.  Green Lake in Interlochen and Duck Lake across the street both have largemouth and smallies to catch.  Just out of town to the south is Boardman.  Never fished it but some of my good friends have had banner days there in the past.

Try the other in the Chain O Lakes -
UPPER Chain O' Lakes:
Six Mile Lake, Hanley Lake, Benway Lake, Wilson Lake, Ellsworth lake, St. Clair Lake

LOWER Chain O' Lakes:
Intermediate Lake, Lake Bellaire, Clam Lake, Torch Lake, Lake Skegemog & Elk Lake.
