I saw this on BFHP and I have to concur with Flash. One heck of a guy Willie to lend a total stranger your boat for two days !!!

I haven't checked the link yet... but I thought this had to be a bad joke of some kind... until I saw the 'NC' part. Having driven around the south a little... I know they do have some different tolerance in their naming conventions...

I know I've met Willie in the past. That is an amazing gesture to trust someone with your pride and joy (boat-wise) for two days on Lake Erie - Detroit River - St. Clair!! To make a decision like that so fast is impressive.

This is an expensive activity we are involved in. It sure helps alleviate a little of the shock of unpleasant surprises knowing there are some real nice people out there who will help each other out. I wouldn't expect everyone to lay it out like Willie did, but it sure is nice some will take the risk.
