The weather was hottttttttttttttttt and so was the fishing. Was dead calm out there till noon today but boated 7 bass. All smallies.Water temps started at 76 degrees at 6 am and with no wind they quickly climbed up to 81 degrees. Kept 4 for dinner and a trade off to the girlfriend's uncle in Kentuckey for some catfish in return. Most came on spinnerbaits in chartruse or red/white with big willow blades. Gf's kid got a 10 inch perch that he's having for lunch today. The kid almost outfished me as 2 of the bass were his. But mine were bigger If he had caught 1 more and it wasn't a walleye, he was swimming home. All he kept saying was " I got another one " every few minutes.
