Whats your guys take on Patriot rods? I won $75 off a rod and wanted to know if they are worth buying? I would be looking for a short jerkbait rod or a short topwater rod. There site is down so I cant look at the selection so any input would be helpful. If I cant find anything I want to buy I could sell it to someone who could use it for say $60.

i have a Higley (same guy, pre-patriot) s-glass cranking rod that i adore!
i also have a patriot sp something spinning rod with the twist on handle in a funky green carbon fiber pattern. 6' 6" rod med/fast. nice rod for the price. i've heard he is a good guy to deal with and has a decent replacement policy.....
i forget where he's based out of, but i know D&R sports carries his stuff... i would check out a few and see if you like 'em.
