Title: Field & Stream store in Troy
Post by: Jefferson on March 14, 2015, 05:02:59 PM
Checked out the new F&S store in Troy today and was surprised by how small it was. About the same size as a Dicks Sporting goods. Tons of clothes. The fishing section was small, but they had some higher end rods that I've never seen at Bass Pro(all out of my price range). Loomis NRX, IMX, the E6X. Top line St. Croix, Abu Garcia Villains. I bought a 13 Fishing Omen Black 6'10" ML xfast spinning. First time I have seen them in stores. Feels better than the Mojo, gonna return that one. I'm not a hunter, but it looked like they had a ton of guns on the other end of the store. Overall they have a good selection of baits, lures, tackle, but everything is so cramped together. They really need a bigger building. Maybe they keep more stock in the back. Just my 2 cents from checking the place out today.

Let us know what you think about that rod after it gets some action. I looked over 13 fishing's catalog online, looks like sweet stuff.

I spent some time at the F&S store today. It is pretty  small, and looks like Dicks, because  it's owned by Dicks sporting goods. Not a big selection of fishing  tackle, but they had some things I  haven't  seen any where else. There were some   2K jigs   and some floating  worms I needed. I picked up another turkey decoy. The firearms  section is nice, with a large  selection.
