The tournament guys sometimes seemed a little surprised by their total weight, are they allowed to use a digital scale for culling or only the culling beams that I have seen at stores? I've never fished a tournament so I'm not to familiar with that part of the process.
Very few are culling
So if your not there's no reason to weigh them
For culling you can use the scale or a beam
I'd guess most have scales
Thanks for the link Dan. I enjoyed day two of the classic. Icanelli is hanging in there , be nice to see a northern guy take the classic .since KVD, didn't make the cut.
I didn't see any coverage with Hite today
I'd guess being a FLW pro as well hurts your TV time with BASS
Was he expected to do well in this tournament?

I don't think so
He likes to throw a chatterbait year round.

And it's a good springtime choice.
But I didn't know Hartwell was a clear water lake
Unfortunate that we couldn't see the first and last few hours of each day of the classic . Seems that this is where all the fishing drama is taking place. Still a great coverage and looking forward to see who is gong to win at the end of the classic .
Maybe they'll get there eventually but it would about double the amount of cameras and crew to pull that off. It was a giant step in the right direction! I watched a lot of it!
Congratulations to Casey Ashley
He threw a under spin with a Jr. fluke most of the time
