Keira Elizabeth McCarter was brought into this world today at 11:45. She is 21 inches long and weighed in at 8lbs 3 ounces. Poor Mom and Poor Baby are doing fine and Poor Dad is resting comfortably.

Congratulations McCarter family on your first of many new fisher people.

Congrats to Brian and Andrea on their first baby, Keira. I have to admit I am a little surprised Brian didn't name his first born Airrus or Pflueger or something...:D

checked the " Golden Rule " and it says a little over 5 pounds for 21 inches. you got a real keeper there. glad all are well..

Nothing more lovable than a daughter, my oldest 43 and my youngest 28. Still as beautiful today as the day they were born.

My congratulations and best wishes to the McCarter family as well. Life is gonna change! At least today you have 24 hour tv. Back in the day it was just a test pattern and no DVD, or even VHS tapes. Oil up the rocker and keep an extra container of diapers in the boat.

Thank you everyone. Mom and baby are doing great. I am tired as a one legged grasshopper in an ant kicking contest. But the lack of sleep is worth it everytime i look down at my beautiful daughter sleeping on my chest. What a rush!
