My brother gave me a St. Croix Mojo spinnerbait rod that has worked out nicely for me, especially since it didn't cost me anything. I almost bought another spinnerbait rod tonight at the Dicks in Muskegon-they had a Shimano Crucial Spinnerbait rod on clearance for $99. I have always put more money into my dropshot, worm/jig rods because of the feel I get from a higher priced rod, than I do for rods used for more reaction strikes. I have been very pleased with all of my Shimano & St. Croix rods & I know there are many other companies out there that build a great rod for under $300. If I had $300 to spend, I'd head back over to Dicks & buy the Shimano Crucial ($99) & pair it with the new Shimano Curado ($179), & buy a couple of spinnerbaits.

How heavy ? Can I sling for an hour ? Is it glass or graphite ?

Also - Would a 7'0" 704 CB glass do the trick if I don't want a 7'6" or I want to reduce weight ? Your thoughts ?

The best one I can afford,  it has to be 60 mil of Graphite or more, 7ft and med-hevy action.

They have them in glass or graphite. If you're gonna go 7 foot rather than 7'6", I'd go with the 705CB Rather than 704. I have all of them and weight is certainty not an issue.

Gosh, I'm blessed.  My new sponsor is a non- fishing company called Globe Vend. An enterprise designed to help regular people enjoy the benefits (tax breaks) of a small company, with low start up cost, and a nice yearly return......... I'll get any here information if interested, but I wanted to celebrate with my community these small victories in life !
