Day-Three Ups and Downs

What goes up - as in up the standings - apparently must come down. For Castrol pro Philip Jarabeck, day three of competition at the 2014 Forrest Wood Cup has been a struggle. He's not been able to rekindle the magic of day two, when he brought in a 17-pound limit to take over the tournament lead from his uncle and fellow Castrol pro, David Dudley.

Dudley also experienced the ebb and flow of major tournament bass fishing competition. He followed up the opening day's best limit of 17 pounds, 14 ounces with 6-1 yesterday to fall to sixth place.

Consistency is king this week, overshadowing the occasional "upper-teens" limit that, thus far, has been nearly impossible to repeat.
