I'm going to be headed up for a 4 day weekend with my girlfriend to Church hill pointe Inn on Hubbard Lake over Labor Day Weekend. Staying right on the water, with docks to keep my boat in and slay Smallies all weekend.
By the way, does anyone have any live bait tips for the Smallies out there? Again, I'm bringing my girlfriend and want her to catch some fish as well. I never use live bait, but I do want her to not have to worry about constantly casting all day. Any ideas of what works, rigging, and how it's been out there on Hubbard would be appreciated.
Never been on the lack so any guidance would be great.
Thanks
I've never fished hubbard but you may want to try a wacky senko under a slip bobber. Would save you from messing with live bait and the waves and wind give the senko actin.
