If you can read this post you are on the new server. I apologize for that. I did my best to make any network person I could get hold of uncomfortable!! It took a lot longer than it should have and it is still going on as I recover some more file changes.
Hang in there and the world (well, the GreatLakesBass.com world...) will be okay once again before the end of the day! Thanks and WELCOME BACK!!
coming in loud and clear at Union Lake.
Don't know what you got til it's gone... I was going crazy today checking it out! Haha
I was banging my head against my smart phone. That's not very smart...
phew! I was worried Union Lake would take extra time. Too close to the water or something... I really did get after some people, in the last 24 hours in particular... I need to recruit some more late night network and admin nerds into bass fishing. So they take this stuff more serious!!! ;D
Looks good
THanx for all the hard work Dan
If you ever run for office I'll vote for you.

I'm surprised Union Lake gets any service given the depth of that lake! I thought for sure that area would loose all signal strengths as any communications would drop off as it crosses the abyss. I've only been on Union Lake once, but at one point I was convinced I would have to switch my graph from feet to fathoms just to get a reading. :D
In all seriousness though Dan, the change over appeared flawless to me...nice work. I give you credit for doing what you do. I've been dealing with a bad 48 port switch at work today, and I have hated every minute of it. I'm not a computer guy, but apparently everyone at work has appointed me as the resident IT guy.

All great to know... but I will NEVER run for office, thank you... ;D
Thanks for the bass thumbs up! :D I NEED to get me one of those!!!
Meanwhile... Union Lake is still on my todo list. I'm not much for The Abyss though... hmmm...
Yeah... you don't want to be the designated 'IT guy' if you can avoid it and don't have to be it. I pay a lot extra so I don't have to know everything! Things were pretty bumpy on my end unfortunately... kinda like some of our roads still... :D I still have a few kinks to work out (with MY IT guys - if I can get them on the darn tickets...) so back to work for me... glad most of you are getting through.
I think there are a few places, such as job sites, who have real long Internet cache delays, who are causing some of our members to still try to connect to the old website location - which isn't going to work too well now... sorry. Had to be done though. I hope for the last time for awhile too!

You never know
I myself think of you as the Fishing shows unoffical Mayor
You just seem to know everone there.
Some of them even like me just a little... the best way to keep it that way is to NOT run for office!! :D I will vote for you though if you run. Just let me know...
