Title: troll motor prop
Post by: rustydog on May 09, 2007, 12:57:31 PM
I probably missed it but I was wondering if anyone was running motorguides hydrillac hacker prop. I'm running a 109# and was wondering if it would save a few blue words when I'm in the junk.

Are you running the aluminum prop on your 109#.  You need the aluminum to get all the power out of that motor, you can also shapen the blades to cut weeds.

FYI, I was told by my service guy that the aluminum props are only recommended for the 36 volt models.

I'm running 36 volt and alum. prop. If you believe the hype about the hacker You should be able to run the White Lake slop as if it was open water. They want 45$ for them and it is a little steep for something not any better then I'm already running.
