I don't know if this belongs in a lake or a museum. It's probably worth it with the new motor and stuff. Just hard to pay that much for that old of a boat.

I agree it's alittle high for model but as much as alot of na says disagree and "Cherry Ranger" brings top money bar none. Got to consider year model of engine and if warranty and update sonar gps. Not out of line for garage kept Cherry Ranger ;) I just sold my 98 461VS for $18,000 cash and he got a good deal. I had two more back up deals on the table one was $500.00 more than I sold it for. He offered the man that purchased it $500.00 not to take the boat. Now I will say it had a 175 Promax with 2 more years warranty, new Birds 998 and 788 with a 101 MK. It was cherry. Never sat outside since purchase new unless I was in it or had a cover at the motel be watch by me and Mr. Glock :D :D Yep Cherry Rangers live forever. I do love the New Z520C Ranger just picked up and hope it's as good as the last boat or the last 5 Rangers over 45 years ;D I can truly say I have never had a problem with a Ranger that was self inflicted except a few with the lastest one, but they were taken care of ASAP by Anglers Choice in Martinsville, VA. The dealer has alot to do with the product. The world best with out service SUCKs :D Alway had nothing but great service and fair pricing from them.

I think those 390 series were one of the first 20 footers......I remember drawing one in a Redman and thinking how massive it seemed....

Nice Ranger. I've seen this boat. It is in very excellent condition as is well cared for. The pinto is nice too.

Nice boat but with a 300 hp engine I don't think you can fish FLW events.

That's true.  Must be 250 hp or less.   Just amazing what the new 621's are going for.

When the FLW had the Walleye tour and league they did raise the max HP to 300
And these days the NWT and the AIM both allow 300's

So it's likley the Bass crowd could some day raise the Max HP
Seeing almost all the Mtg. do sell boats rated for 300 HP motors these days

Why did they have a limit on Horsepower? If a boat was legal and rated for it then why limit it
