In the case of Skip Johnson of Goodells, Mich., that was exactly the approach he took to claim his first victory with FLW in dramatic fashion at the season-ending event for the Walmart FLW Tour on Kentucky Lake presented by Evinrude. He saved the best for last as he brought his biggest bag of the week to the Paris, Tenn., Walmart and dropped 24 pounds on the scale and take the title by a mere 1 pound, 2 ounces. Johnson wrapped up the week with a four-day total weight of 88-10 and earned a $100,000 check.
