Title: Happy Fathers Day
Post by: Jefferson on June 16, 2014, 09:35:29 PM
Happy Father's Day a day late to all. My boy (2 1/2 years old) caught his first fish today! I don't know who was more excited, me or him. A little sunfish at a local pond, he reeled it in all by himself and it was pure joy on his face. I don't know if I'll ever catch anything that will top that moment and I don't really care! Hope he will want to take old dad out on his boat when he gets older.

I love hearing about kids catching fish.

That's really great to hear! Thanks for sharing and spending your dad-time to pass it on. Plus, as you point out, win-win - maybe he'll take you fishing later! Happy Father's Day. Happy any day we get to fishing!
