Title: Signature Lines
Post by: Jefferson on June 10, 2014, 09:30:47 AM
So who's got the best or worst signature line when they hook into a fish. I'm sure you've all heard each other yell something. I always say "There he is" like I've hooked moby dick when that's hardly the case. Never noticed it until my buddy pointed it out.

Mine is usually.   " got him "   followed by  " nope he's gone "

Mine is the same followed by a four letter expletive. Impertinence of youth or something.

"There it is" is my usual line, followed by "ah sh&#, its a sheepshead."

My favorite is when my dad is fishing with me and he sets the hook on weeds or a stick.  This is how it plays out... "got one, got one!!!!, nope wait, just weed...cheap thrill."

When asked how you're doing...Ah, do you smell bacon? I have a hog in the live well!

I don't talk about bacon in the boat. Just makes me hungry...
