Fished from 10-1 today around 10mile today with my 4 year old. Water was 57-59 degrees and fairly clear to gin clear in a few areas. Started real shallow looking for beds but didn't see much. A good drift wind moved us out at a good pace. First fish my little guy caught in 8fow on a hula grub followed by one more on the next cast. Slow day but we did see tons of fish. Finished with only four fish all between two and three pounds. I Threw jerkbaits, tubes, traps and spinnerbaits with no luck. Two on a hula grub, one on drop shot, one on a grub.
Did you see tons of fish shallow?
