Title: SI transducer, broken plate
Post by: Frank on April 14, 2014, 12:59:27 PM
The bottom plastic plate broke off my transducer and now lives in the bottom of the lake.  will it be fine, or is there a way to fix it?

Thank You
Frank Benning

was it the hard plastic where it is molded together.  You may be able to use epoxy and make a new plate.  Try a few coats and see if it works.

good luck

it has a transduce save on it.  it caught on the trolling motor mount when pulling it out of the water.  i shall try epoxy and see how that is.

The transduce shield is the way to go. Works great and does not catch on TM mound. My old one did.
