I think he did a great job..... For a newbie.. LOL
I have been tournament fishing for over 30 years and could not do that good. 8^(
Even though Mike has been trying to get me on his dock talk for a while... I'm just not comfortable with it.. ::)
I don't know Mojo yet, but he did a great job, really interesting to listen to. Mike, you would do a great job on that format! Whether you know it or not, you are pretty interesting to talk to about fishing! Just get on there and have a conversation about whatever and share your 30 yrs knowledge.

Sooooo... What did y'all think?
It was really good. I love the series and it was nice to hear from the co angler point of view!
Nice job Mike. You put some perspective in the world of the back boater. Back when I started tournament fishing in 1991, I started as a co-angler. I was co for quite a few years until my daughter turned 8. I bought a boat and we started fishing. We fished a lot of 4 hour tournaments because an 8 year old doesn't have the focus and their mind wanders.....a lot. Plus they get board fast. But she did put fish in the boat and we managed to cash a few checks. She fished until she was about 15. Then she was less interested hanging with Dad and more interested hanging with her friends.
I thought it was amusing about you loving fishing more than your bride and that's why you haven't bought a boat. She better not ever hear that. That could be trouble. I used "I can take you and the kids fishing." Of course my bride has fishing in her blood from when she fished with her Dad when she was a little girl. That helped a lot.
That's a pretty good podcast series and I am looking forward to hearing more from other anglers.
BD. ;D
I thought it was really good. I think you were opinionated and honest. I liked your tips on being a co-angler. If every co-angler would be like you, it would be a great!
