Does anyone have any ice fishing gear I can use for CIR season, I'd really like to get out but I am not an ice fisherman. I hope there is enough ice in the next 2-3 days that I can start pre-fishing (for pike of course).
I also need some pointers on bed fishing, do you drill the hole directly over the bed and then go away and pitch to it, or do you just stay there( I don't wanna spook 'em)
HAHAHAHA
Now that's funny right there... I dont care who you are. ;D
I've got a tournament in Tennessee this coming week and my first day pre fishing (tomorrow) it will be 24 degrees over night and warm up to 46 with 20 mph winds. I'm not too happy about it.
I keep refreshing the 10 day forecast for that area and every time I refresh the temp goes down and the precipitation goes up. ??? >:( :'(

hey bshaner dont feel to bad i've been fishing the last 2 days here and am heading out tomorrow to...that ice in the guides gets kinda of annoying but its been worth it ;).
Good luck in tennessee!
sure is different from last weekend... i was in indy, 78* outside....water temp was 59-61 :o.... put 6 fish in the boat for the afternoon...1 being a nice 5# 6oz toad.... now this week. I'm goin to IN again, but i think i'll leave my poles at home.
On the bright side this should push that water temp back down to "seasonal" temps and won't screw up all the local patterns.. hopefully anyway. 8)
